Katrin Eissing hinterfragt das Konzept der „sozialen Energie“ (wie z. B. Rosa) Sie nutzt zwischenmenschlichen Dialog als eine Art künstlerische Praxis. Hier ist sie die konzeptuelle Ausgangslage.

« Ich benutze Licht als Metapher und auch Modell für meine erweiterte Kinoarbeit. Filme, Lichter werden auf fliegende Objekte in einem offenen, demokratischen Raum projiziert. Die Themen Licht und Wärme entstehen in ihrem Werden, können also in Bewegung „begriffen“ werden. Es entstehen Räume, in denen Ideen und Sprache durch die physische Manifestation des Werkes greifbar sind. Titel für diesen Prozess ist hier «Postupak», ein Begriff von Michail Baktin, der nicht übersetzbar ist (das ist auch sein Wert). Ich verwende ihn als Beschreibung einer Praxis oder dieser « Hand-lung » (auf Deutsch): Kunst im sozialen Raum/ Kunst in sozialen Verantwortung. Die Performance/Veranstaltung/der Raum entsteht aus gemeinsamen Improvisationen mit anderen Künstlern und Gästen. Aus Unvorhersehbarkeiten am Rand der Nacht, an den Rändern der Sprache. »

Questioning the concept of „social energy“ (as f.ex Rosa), Eissing is using interpersonal dialog as an artistic practice and conceptual starting point.

« I am using light as both a metaphor and a model for my expanded cinema work. Here Films and lights are projected onto large flying objects in an open, democratic space. The themes of light and warmth emerged in their state of action, i.e. in motion. We create spaces where ideas and language became tangible via the physical manifestation of the work of art. The first title for this process is « Postupak », a term used by Michail Baktin, which is a non-translatable (indeed, that is its value). I do use it herein as a description of practice, or « Hand-lung »(in german) : Art in social space. The event consists of joint improvisations with other artists and guests. Improvisation with text will take place as night falls. »
